Working Holiday Visa Age Limit Increased

Australia has increased the maximum age limit for Working Holiday visa applicants from several countries.

Passport holders from the following countries may now be eligible to apply up to the age of 35, rather than the previous limit of 30:

  • Cyprus
  • Finland
  • Germany
  • South Korea

The Working Holiday visa allows eligible young people to live and work in Australia for an extended period while travelling around the country. Applicants must still meet the other visa requirements, including passport, health and character requirements.

If you are aged between 30 and 35 and previously thought you were no longer eligible, this change may provide a new opportunity to apply.
