Applications for the new program year reopened on 2 July 2026
If your country’s Work and Holiday (subclass 462) cap was closed, applications for the new program year reopened on 2 July 2026 (AEST).
Before applying, check your country’s current cap status. It will be one of the following:
🟢 Open – Applications are currently being accepted.
🟡 Paused – Applications are temporarily unavailable. The cap may reopen later in the same program year.
🔴 Closed – Your country’s annual cap has been reached.
If your country’s status is open, you do not need to wait, you can apply now, provided you meet the eligibility requirements.
